At YARD (formerly TurfNow), we are committed to upholding the highest standards of data privacy and transparency. This Privacy Policy governs your use of the YARD mobile application (the "App"), our services, and our connected platforms. It describes what information we collect, how that information is utilized strictly to provide sports venue bookings, community squad management, game matching, and coach training, and your rights regarding your personal information.

We collect only the minimum data required to deliver a seamless sports booking and community experience.

A. Authentication & Account Credentials

For authentication, we strictly limit sign-in methods to:

• Google Sign-In (Firebase Authentication): When you sign in with Google, we access only your public profile information: your name (displayName), email address (email), profile image URL (photoUrl), and unique authentication identifier (uid). We do not access your Google contacts, Google Drive, or any other personal Google account data.
• Email and Password: If you register using an email and password, we securely store your email and a cryptographically salted password hash managed by Google Firebase Authentication.
• Phone Number Authentication / Contact Number: Turf Owners, Sports Trainers, and Players coordinating bookings provide a 10-digit mobile number used strictly for account verification, dashboard access, and direct player-to-venue/coach coordination.

B. Browsing Without Registration

• General visitors can browse venues, inspect sports facilities, view game match listings, and explore coach profiles without registering.
• No personal data or tracking cookies are gathered while simply browsing the catalog.

The YARD platform features a multi-role architecture tailored to the sports community:

1. General Users / Players

• Purpose: Discover local sports turfs, reserve play slots, organize and join pickup games/matches, connect with community squads, and book personal coaching sessions.
• Information Collected:
  • Profile identity: Name, email address, optional profile picture, and optional contact phone.
  • Booking & Activity History: Reserved turf slots, enrolled game matches, booked coach sessions, and squad memberships.
  • Chat Communications: Messages sent within joined squads (players have full control to edit or delete their sent messages at any time).

2. Turf Owners / Venue Operators

• Purpose: Manage sports arenas, schedule operating hours, track standard and custom bookings, handle slot delays, and configure pricing.
• Information Collected:
  • Owner Credentials: Phone number and secure password for owner dashboard login.
  • Venue Metadata: Turf name, physical address, geo-coordinates, contact phone number, supported sports, base daytime hourly rates, night-time hourly rates, operating hours, slot duration, and facility amenities.
  • Facility Media: Arena photos and gallery images uploaded to showcase the venue.
  • Booking Management: Slot reservations, customer name, contact phone, advance payments, and slot delay records.

3. Sports Trainers / Coaches

• Purpose: Offer professional training, create coaching profiles, display sports credentials, and manage coaching appointments.
• Information Collected:
  • Professional Credentials: Coach name, contact number, sport disciplines, coaching specialty, years of experience, certification badge, languages spoken, and bio.
  • Pricing & Availability: Hourly session fee, session formats (1-on-1, Duo, Small Group), and available time slots.
  • Trainee Bookings: Session requests, trainee contact details, and session status.

4. Community Admins / Squad Creators

• Purpose: Build sports squads, organize friendly or competitive matches, and moderate squad discussions.
• Information Collected:
  • Squad Profile: Squad name, sport, home location/turf, squad description, and privacy level (Public or Private).
  • Membership & Invites: Cryptographically secure 8-character invite tokens for deep linking, join requests, member lists, and role assignments (Admin / Member).
  • Squad Chat Channel: Real-time community messages and announcements.

5. Super Admins / Platform Administrators

• Purpose: Maintain platform safety, verify newly registered sports venues, approve certified trainers, and curate promotional home banners.
• Information Collected: Administrative logs, approval/rejection status records, and system-wide broadcast notification records.

• End-User Control: In any squad chat, users have the absolute right to edit or delete their sent messages at any time. When a message is deleted, it is removed from the active chat view and replaced with a deletion indicator.
• Strict Channel Isolation: Messages sent within a squad are isolated strictly to members of that specific squad (/community_chats/{communityId}) and are not public or accessible across other communities.

• NO Third-Party Advertising: The App contains NO third-party advertising SDKs, ad networks, trackers, or data-broker libraries (no Google AdMob, no Facebook Audience Network, no Unity Ads).
• NO Selling or Renting of Data: We do not monetize your personal data. We never sell, rent, or trade your contact information, location, or usage statistics to anyone.
• Infrastructure Partners (Data Processors):
  • Google Firebase (Alphabet Inc.): Powers Firebase Authentication, Firebase Realtime Database (https://turfnow-26527-default-rtdb.firebaseio.com), and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications. All data is transferred over TLS 1.3 encryption.
  • Cloudinary: Used strictly as a secure Content Delivery Network (CDN) to host venue images and profile photos uploaded directly by owners, trainers, or users.
• Direct Contact: Telephone calls and WhatsApp inquiries initiated by users to venue owners or trainers are handled natively via the user's device dialer/messenger (tel: and wa.me: protocols). YARD does not record, intercept, or monitor your phone calls.

The App may request the following permissions solely for core functionality:

1. Push Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to deliver high-priority booking confirmations, slot freed alerts, coach requests, and squad match updates. You can enable or disable notifications in your device system settings at any time.
2. Vibration (VIBRATE): Used to alert turf owners and trainers immediately of incoming booking requests so players do not face delays at the venue.
3. Photos / Storage (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Used exclusively when a turf owner uploads arena photos or a user uploads a profile picture.
4. Internet Access (INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required to connect to Firebase Realtime Database and verify live booking availability.
5. Call Log (READ_CALL_LOG - Optional for Owners): Strictly optional for venue owners using direct customer follow-up features to verify recent customer booking inquiries.

• Encryption: All communications between the App, our backend server, and Firebase Realtime Database are encrypted in transit using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) / Transport Layer Security (TLS).
• Session Security: Local login sessions are securely maintained in private app storage (SharedPreferences) on your device.
• Data Retention: We retain your account data and booking history for as long as your account remains active. If an account is inactive or requested for deletion, associated records are permanently erased.

You have full control over your personal data:

• How to Request Deletion: You can request the complete and permanent deletion of your account, profile data, turf listings, coach listings, or squad messages at any time by emailing shaikhrayhan479@gmail.com or contacting our support line at +91 7058811186.
• Execution: Upon receipt of an account deletion request, your authentication credentials, personal profile, and associated records will be permanently purged from our Firebase databases within 7 business days.

YARD does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without consent, please contact us immediately so we can promptly delete such information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect enhancements in the App, new feature additions, or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted with a revised "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
